Labor Day Protest
We will be in the streets leading protests and mobilizations because when billionaires take over the government, you can’t stop them through their own courts or their own Congress alone. Workers know how to stop bad bosses. It’s through solidarity and our collective action!
Our Demands to Build the Society We Deserve:
Stop the billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration.
Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.
Fully funded schools, and healthcare and housing for all.
Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black, indigenous, trans people, and all our communities.
Invest in people not wars.
Join organizations and unions such as the Columbus Education Association, Columbus Education Justice Coalition, Starbucks Workers United, Central Ohio Rank and File Educators, Pint Size Protesters, Party for Socialism and Liberation, and more!

ICE Defense Training
Siembra NC delivered a training for educators and community on how to build an ICE Defense Network, what a 4th Amendment workplace is, and received an Educator’s Kit to protect our members, students, and families from ICE.

CORE’s Teach-In: A Statehouse Protest
CORE went on a field trip through the Ohio Statehouse. We read educational justice pedagogy, confronted anti-public education legislators, and chanted throughout the halls. This is where the Educator’s Burn Book originated.

Senator Michele Reynolds Town Hall
CORE hosted a Town Hall for Senator Michele Reynolds in her home district of Canal-Winchester. While Reynolds spent the evening at a GOP fundraiser in Circleville instead of being in conversation with her constituents, she sent her aide Chloe Green (who also serves on the Canal-Winchester Board of Education) in her place. Green provided no answers on school funding or Reynolds’s priorities for public education.

May Day
Attacks on public services are attacks on the people. We're calling for all educators, workers, students, families, and communities, to show our state and federal government our power in numbers and show we will do whatever it takes to win.
